Mycena rosea

A  relatively large, pink or lilac-pink bonnet similar to Mycena pura, and with same radish-like (raphanoid) smell, but with a more pronounced umbonate cap. Large inflated cheilocysidia form a sterile layer along the edge of the gills (see photo). Geoffrey Kibby states that this species appears to be invalidly published and will require a new name. Only one collection in West Glamorgam from a Norway Spruce forest in Neath Port Talbot.
