Veronica arvensis Wall Speedwell

A compact, hairy, low-growing, annual speedwell which produces bright blue flowers and which grows in cultivated land, on pavements, bare waste ground and gravelly tracks. It is ubiquitous throughout Britain and Ireland and it is widespread and common throughout most of lowland West Glamorgan, especialy in urban areas and along gravelled forest roads.
