Artemisia maritima Sea Wormwood

Sea Wormwood is a distinctive plant of sea walls and the drier pats of the upper Saltmarsh, often growing in isolated clusters. The white-woolly leaves are more or less 2-pinnate with relatively long linear segments and have a strong, but pleasant aromatic, worwood smell when crushed.  It is widespread in Britain and occasional to locally frequent on saltmarshes in West Glamorgan.
