Dianthus plumarius Pink

L.

A common, variable, perennial garden plant with relatively large flowers that may be white or pink and which are conspicuously fringed. It is native to the mountains of east-central Europe. It frequently naturalises into roadside verges and banks and it is also included in wildflower mixtures. It is occasionally found naturalised along roads and in waste places in West Glamorgan.
