Galium palustre Marsh-bedstraw

A hairless, perennial, white-flowered bedstaw with weak, scrambling stems which grows in non-calcareous, marshy or wetalnd habitats such as fens, bogs, marshy grasslands, ditches and the edges of pools, ponds, lakes and water courses. The leaves have obtuse or slightly pointed tips but they are not apiculate (they don't have a pointed mucro). It is common and ubiquitous in Britain and Ireland and it is found throughout West Glamorgam in wet habitats.
