Hieracium sabaudum Autumn Hawkweed

A tall, very leafy hawkweed in Section Sabauda, which is common throughout most of England and Wales and perhaps the most common, lowland hawkweed in the British Flora. It is very variable and a number of forms have been named. Forma bladonii, which was described by Peter Sell, is probably the one that is represented in West Glamorgan. It is common in West Glamorgan where it is found along tracks in open woodland, along forest roads, on railway banks and on walls.
