Erophila majuscula Hairy Whitlowgrass

Similar to Common Whitlow-grass (Erophila verna s.l.) but with densely hairy leaves. It also occurs in similar habitats but is not usually found on dunes. It is not recorded as much as Common Whitlow-grass in West Glamorgan and may be overlooked, and under recorded, particularly in inland areas. Unlike Common Whitlow-grass it is diploid (2n=14).
