Hypericum x hidcoteense Hidcote Tutsan

A large, woody, branched St John's-wort which looks like a bushy Rose-of-Sharon (Hypericum calycinum). It is often used as hedging in amemity areas, retail parks and industrial estates. It is very floriferous in early summer producing masses of large bright yellow flowers. It does not occur naturalised in West Glamorgan but it can persist as a relic of cultivation.
