Rubus saxatilis Stone Bramble

A relatively small, stoloniferous bramble with hairy stems but few prickles. Very rare in West Glamorgan with records from the upper Pyrddin Valley near Scwd Einion Gam and from Craig y Llyn, but not seen in recent years. Its occurrence in remote areas that are nor accessed easily are the probable reason for the lack of recent records.
